Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering phones, processing reservations, and managing the switchboard.
- Process payments and handle cash handling with the highest level of accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby environment at all times.
- Stay updated on local attractions, events, and transportation options to provide excellent local recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or a related hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Smith Travel).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Clean criminal background check and valid driver's license.
