Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using hotel management systems
- Manage reservations and optimize room occupancy
- Resolve guest inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Upsell hotel amenities and special packages
- Handle emergency situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera/Micros)
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Fluent in English; multilingual skills a plus
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if required for errands)
