Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional greeting to all guests upon arrival and departure, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
- Guest Services: Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling payments, issuing room keys, and confirming reservations.
- Communication: Handle incoming calls and emails with poise, answering inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, utilizing the Service Recovery model to exceed expectations.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, process folios, and handle daily banking duties.
- Area Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and order of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous front desk or guest services experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and standard computer applications.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
