Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with poise and efficiency, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Communication: Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person correspondence regarding reservations, room service, and hotel amenities.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to reflect our high standards of hospitality.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process various payment methods and handle cash transactions with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Concierge Support: Assist guests with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Shift Management: Adhere to all hotel policies, safety procedures, and schedule requirements, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
- Language: Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are highly desirable.
