Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check them in/out efficiently, and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and a friendly tone.
- Operations: Manage the front desk operations, including handling cash transactions, credit card verifications, and balancing the daily house bank.
- Information: Provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions to assist guests with their needs.
- Security: Monitor the lobby area to ensure the safety and security of guests and property at all times.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency with PMS (Property Management System) experience (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Attitude: A professional, positive, and service-oriented attitude with a keen eye for detail.
