Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk operations during the overnight shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and wake-up calls.
- Perform nightly financial reconciliations, including posting charges, balancing the house bank, and preparing daily reports.
- Conduct security rounds to ensure the safety of guests and property assets.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation options.
- Update and maintain guest profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition of operations and information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Smith Travel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high-pressure situations with poise.
