Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage guest check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying identity, processing payments, and assigning rooms.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with grace and efficiency, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and relay information to appropriate departments promptly.
- Front Office Administration: Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS) and manage daily logs and reports.
- Lobby Maintenance: Monitor the lobby area to ensure it remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Security: Enforce hotel safety and security policies to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or hospitality role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
