Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm welcome to guests upon arrival and departure, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Guest Services: Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide information regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation.
- Reservations: Manage the reservation system, update guest profiles, and assist with room assignments to maximize occupancy.
- Communication: Answer phone calls and emails promptly, transferring messages to the appropriate departments.
- Financial Operations: Process payments accurately, maintain cash drawers, and prepare daily bank deposits.
- Hotel Maintenance: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional hospitality training is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable tone.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
