Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process.
- Reservations: Manage incoming reservations, modify existing bookings, and utilize the Property Management System (PMS) accurately.
- Communication: Handle phone inquiries and emails professionally, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or requests promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Security & Safety: Monitor the front desk and lobby areas to ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Administrative: Process payments, balance daily reports, and maintain a tidy front desk workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and kitchen staff to ensure guest rooms and common areas meet high standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate for immediate hire.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and problem resolution.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.
