Responsibilities
- Greets guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing the check-in and check-out process with speed and accuracy.
- Handles guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Processes payments and prepares accurate folios for hotel guests using the property management system (PMS).
- Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area at all times.
- Assists with concierge services, including local recommendations and transportation arrangements.
- Communicates effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and culinary teams to address guest needs promptly.
- Adheres to all hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior hotel experience is a plus but not always required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Proficiency in computer systems, specifically Property Management Systems (PMS) like Opera or Micros.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multitask in a busy environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Basic knowledge of English language and regional geography.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
