Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all transactions and data entry.
- Answer multiple phone lines, respond to emails, and manage correspondence in a professional manner.
- Handle front desk operations, including processing payments, handling inquiries, and managing room keys.
- Assist with baggage handling and valet services when necessary to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor the security system and lobby area to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly.
- Stay updated on local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to provide accurate recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service preferred.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with property management systems (PMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A friendly, professional demeanor and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
