Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, checking them in efficiently and accurately using hotel management software.
- Manage guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities.
- Handle front desk operations during assigned shifts, including managing cash, credit transactions, and petty cash.
- Process reservations and changes to bookings while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest requests are met promptly.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues professionally, escalating complex situations to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Basic math skills for handling cash and billing transactions.
