Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out guests with efficiency and warmth, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies with poise, empathy, and effective problem-solving.
- Maintain the lobby and public areas to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
- Process payments, manage folios, and balance accounts accurately at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, and hotel amenities to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Oracle Opera, StayNTouch).
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
