Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all reservations and guest information.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including answering inquiries, processing payments, and handling special requests with a smile.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Assist in coordinating front-of-house activities, including bell service and concierge services.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Update and maintain the hotel's Property Management System (PMS) records accurately.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or Receptionist in a hotel or luxury resort setting.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Proficiency with PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is highly preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
