Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and luggage handling with grace and professionalism.
- Provide exceptional guest service by answering inquiries, making reservations, and resolving complaints or issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and manage hotel folios.
- Maintain a high standard of room cleanliness and organization in the lobby and front desk areas.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, safety regulations, and brand standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in using hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
