Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identification and payment information.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries with a professional and welcoming tone.
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Manage room reservations and update the property management system accurately.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Assist with luggage handling and provide directions to local attractions in Memphis.
- Process payments and prepare daily financial reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light luggage.
- Must possess a professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
