Responsibilities
- Efficiently check in/out guests using hotel management systems
- Manage reservations, payments, and guest inquiries with professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for seamless operations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with empathy and urgency
- Perform nightly audits and financial reporting tasks
- Maintain security protocols and emergency procedures
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid New York State hospitality certification preferred
