Join the The Grand Detroit Hotel team as our dedicated Front Desk Agent for the night shift. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to manage our late-night operations. Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes for late-night arrivals with speed and accuracy.
- Monitor hotel security systems and conduct nightly rounds to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints via phone, email, or in-person.
- Process nightly payments and reconcile financial transactions according to hotel policy.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Perform light maintenance reporting and coordinate with housekeeping for late check-outs.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless handover of all guest information and tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Proficiency with computers and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a quiet environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and guest needs.
