Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle high-volume phone reservations and manage room inventory
- Resolve guest concerns with empathy and proactive solutions
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for flawless operations
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and amenities
- Assist with VIP guest requests and special occasion arrangements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk or high-end customer service experience
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- Spanish fluency preferred
