Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and processing payments.
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a focus on resolving issues to guest satisfaction.
- Monitor the security of the hotel premises and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues immediately.
- Perform night audit duties accurately, including reconciling accounts and preparing daily reports.
- Assist with housekeeping coordination to ensure guest rooms are ready for the next day's arrivals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy front desk area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 20 lbs).
