Responsibilities
- Manage Night Operations: Oversee the front desk during night hours, ensuring all check-ins, check-outs, and wake-up calls are processed accurately and with a smile.
- Guest Relations: Greet arriving guests warmly, resolve inquiries or complaints efficiently, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Security & Safety: Monitor building security systems, conduct regular patrols, and ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone lines promptly and relay messages to the appropriate departments or staff members.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, manage the mailroom, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- System Management: Utilize Property Management Systems (PMS) to update guest information and manage room status.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Skills: Proficiency with computers and familiarity with PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to work independently during night hours.
