Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests efficiently, verifying identification and processing payments using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including answering phones, handling inquiries, and assisting with wake-up calls.
- Monitor hotel security cameras and conduct regular security rounds of the premises to ensure guest safety and asset protection.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly with a focus on maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assist with concierge services, including recommending local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options in Los Angeles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional hospitality training is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in front desk operations or guest services, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
