Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and respond to inquiries regarding hotel amenities and local area information.
- Monitor security cameras and access points to ensure the safety and security of guests and property during the night shift.
- Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist guests with any special requests, from room service to late check-out arrangements.
- Perform light administrative duties such as filing paperwork and maintaining the front desk area.
- Report any maintenance issues or incidents to the appropriate department immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
- Reliable transportation is required.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor is essential.
