We are looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Agent to join the team at The Cleveland Plaza Hotel. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. If you are a reliable team player with great communication skills and a positive attitude, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration forms and privacy policies are accurately completed.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly in a professional manner.
- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and checks, with strict attention to accuracy.
- Assist guests with check-out procedures, luggage handling, and providing local directions and recommendations.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor the lobby area and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for visitors.
- Perform light administrative duties, such as filing documents and updating guest profiles in the PMS system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new hotel management software quickly.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but not required for this entry-level position.
