Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, including verifying identity, collecting payments, and assigning rooms.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, redirecting inquiries to the appropriate department or taking detailed messages.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries and complaints with patience and empathy, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS) and handle billing discrepancies.
- Front of House: Keep the reception area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Security: Verify guest identification and adhere to hotel security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Attitude: A positive demeanor and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy; willingness to learn new software and PMS systems.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a professional appearance and conduct in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
