Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, checking them in efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Reservations: Manage incoming phone calls and online bookings, ensuring accurate record-keeping of guest preferences and special requests.
- Check-In/Out: Process payments, verify identification, and issue room keys or access cards using our property management system.
- Concierge Services: Provide local recommendations, arrange transportation, and assist with special events or dining reservations.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate maintenance needs and housekeeping requests to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
- General Operations: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and adhere to all safety and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attitude: A friendly, approachable, and customer-service-oriented personality.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and comfort with using hotel management software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
