Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary registration forms are completed and accurate.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest emails and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and resolve any billing discrepancies or complaints with grace.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby lounge.
- Provide guests with information regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation options.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet high standards.
- Assist with concierge duties and coordinate special requests for guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level role.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems or reservation software is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
