Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, answer questions, and assist with any inquiries to ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Guest Services: Handle check-outs efficiently, manage room keys, and provide information about local Memphis attractions and services.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls, route messages, and manage email correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
- Reception Management: Maintain a neat and organized front desk area; monitor lobby and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns and complaints with patience and empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Administrative Support: Process payments, verify IDs, and assist with light clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential and attitude over a resume.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with people from diverse backgrounds.
