Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional greeting to guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls and emails promptly, answering inquiries and resolving issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the switchboard, route calls, and handle correspondence for the front office efficiently.
- Security & Access: Monitor security cameras and access control systems to ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate maintenance requests and housekeeping priorities to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and reconcile daily reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value attitude and work ethic over history.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn Property Management Systems (PMS) quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is highly preferred.
- Interpersonal: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a strong customer service focus.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
