Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently manage guest registration, verify information, process payments, and issue room keys using our property management system.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls with a polite and professional tone, taking accurate messages and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Information Desk: Provide guests with accurate information regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation options to enhance their stay.
- Reception Support: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries, requests, and minor complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
Qualifications
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Attitude: A friendly, outgoing, and guest-centric attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale or property management systems is a plus but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
