Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Phone Operations: Answer incoming calls promptly, route messages, and take accurate reservations or service requests.
- Front Desk Administration: Manage cash transactions, process credit card payments, and maintain accurate daily logs and reports.
- Communication: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Concierge Services: Provide information about local attractions, dining, and transportation to guests.
Qualifications
- Degree: High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required for this role.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computer systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
