Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate hotel reservation systems to manage room availability and process bookings accurately.
- Assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle cash transactions and reconcile daily deposits with accuracy.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred but not strictly required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong customer service mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
