Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in/check-out procedures, and answer inquiries about local attractions and services.
- Reservation Management: Process new reservations, modify existing bookings, and manage room assignments efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-ins with professionalism, ensuring all messages are relayed accurately to the appropriate departments.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to management while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Operations Support: Maintain the lobby area to ensure a clean and welcoming environment; assist with mail handling, billing inquiries, and petty cash management.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Technical: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel software is a plus.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; a second language is a plus.
