Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and warmth
- Handle reservation inquiries and room assignments via PMS systems
- Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining service excellence
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile daily transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Act as local tourism ambassador with comprehensive area knowledge
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
- Collaborate with management to optimize front desk operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar PMS software
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid California driver's license (for airport runs)
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and cash handling proficiency
