As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well-cared for from the moment they arrive. We offer a dynamic work environment, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth within the heart of the city.
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration procedures are accurate and secure.
- Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism, addressing inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local recommendations.
- Manage front desk operations, including processing payments, managing the Point of Sale (POS) system, and maintaining the lobby area.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest requests are met.
- Stay updated on local events and attractions to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- A valid driverβs license is preferred.
