Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, including verifying guest information and processing payments.
- Communication: Answer multi-line phone systems with a polite and helpful tone, routing calls and taking accurate messages.
- Inquiries: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel services.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the front desk area in a clean, organized, and professional condition; manage guest mail and faxes.
- Problem Solving: Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
