Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and memorable first impression.
- Check-in/Check-out: Efficiently process reservations, check-ins, and check-outs using the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and reservations.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or issues immediately with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex matters to the Manager on Duty when necessary.
- Front Desk Operations: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the lobby and waiting areas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Hospitality or Tourism is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professionalism: A neat, professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing personality.
