Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with the highest level of professionalism and empathy.
- Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and check transactions accurately and securely.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
- Handle security procedures, including key card issuance and guest access control.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Assist with special events and banquets when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of hospitality experience in a front desk or guest services role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
