Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Handle cash transactions, credit card processing, and guest billing accurately.
- Manage room assignments, upgrades, and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform night audits for the overnight shift, ensuring financial accuracy and security protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services and provide local recommendations to visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hotel management certificate is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Must be professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
