Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests, handling check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and grace.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for guests, answering inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Reservations Management: Process incoming reservations accurately using the Property Management System (PMS) and maintain the reservation calendar.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls promptly, transfer messages accurately, and communicate effectively with other hotel departments.
- Problem Solving: Address guest concerns or complaints in a calm, professional manner and escalate issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Security & Access: Manage key cards and ensure the safety and security of the hotel property and guests.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the front desk area, organize filing systems, and assist with general hotel operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attitude: A positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude is essential.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hotel software.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
