Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and handling check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions promptly.
- Operational Support: Assist in managing the front desk lobby area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and inviting for all visitors.
- Security & Safety: Monitor surveillance cameras and access points to maintain the safety and security of the property and guests.
- Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints or special requests with grace and efficiency, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Shift Coordination: Adapt to varying shift schedules, including weekends and holidays, to ensure seamless 24-hour operations.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, manage folios, and maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS).
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college coursework in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and comfort with using Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Attitude: A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 25 lbs).
