Responsibilities

  • Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and handling check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions promptly.
  • Operational Support: Assist in managing the front desk lobby area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and inviting for all visitors.
  • Security & Safety: Monitor surveillance cameras and access points to maintain the safety and security of the property and guests.
  • Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints or special requests with grace and efficiency, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Shift Coordination: Adapt to varying shift schedules, including weekends and holidays, to ensure seamless 24-hour operations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process payments, manage folios, and maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS).

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college coursework in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for entry-level candidates.
  • Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Availability: Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and comfort with using Property Management Systems (PMS).
