Responsibilities

  • Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Efficiently process reservations, verify identity, collect payments, and issue room keys using the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk lobby area, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and guests.
  • Communication: Answer multi-line telephone systems, respond to guest emails promptly, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate daily logs, prepare reports, and manage cash handling and banking procedures.
  • Security & Safety: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and fire safety regulations to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Sales Support: Upsell hotel amenities and promote special packages to maximize revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
