Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Efficiently process reservations, verify identity, collect payments, and issue room keys using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk lobby area, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and guests.
- Communication: Answer multi-line telephone systems, respond to guest emails promptly, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate daily logs, prepare reports, and manage cash handling and banking procedures.
- Security & Safety: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and fire safety regulations to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Sales Support: Upsell hotel amenities and promote special packages to maximize revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Language: Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus for our El Paso location.
- Integrity: Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
