Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera PMS while maintaining accuracy in reservation details
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, resolving issues promptly and exceeding expectations
- Process payments and manage cash drawer operations with meticulous attention to detail
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and special requests
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences and revenue
- Maintain security protocols for guest information and key systems
- Collaborate with concierge team to provide local recommendations and transportation assistance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, FOSSE preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for airport shuttle duties)
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Louisville attractions and transportation options
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
