Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Reception Management: Manage the front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems, routing calls, and managing the switchboard efficiently.
- Reservation Handling: Process reservations, modify bookings, and manage room assignments accurately using hotel management software.
- Security & Access: Verify guest identities and access codes, ensuring the security of the property and guest safety.
- Information Dissemination: Provide accurate information regarding local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to guests.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the lobby area, handle mail and packages, and process cash and credit transactions with precision.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Computer Proficiency: Must be comfortable working with computers, POS systems, and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and a solution-oriented mindset.
