About the Role:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will manage the front desk operations with precision and grace. You will handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations while ensuring every guest feels valued and welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
- Reservation Management: Assist with room bookings, modify reservations, and manage phone inquiries efficiently.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS) and handle cash/credit transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or requests immediately and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- Lobby Maintenance: Monitor the lobby area to ensure it is clean, organized, and inviting for all visitors.
- Security: Adhere to hotel security protocols and fire safety regulations at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to coordinate guest needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or hospitality role preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business school background is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Personality: A friendly, outgoing attitude with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
