Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, check them in/out efficiently, and provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Reservation Management: Assist with incoming reservations, manage room assignments, and handle special requests to ensure a personalized guest experience.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to management while ensuring guest satisfaction is maintained.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS), process payments, and balance daily cash drawers and reports.
- Concierge Support: Provide local recommendations, arrange transportation, and assist with restaurant reservations or tour bookings.
- Facility Maintenance: Monitor the front desk area for cleanliness and organization, and communicate any maintenance issues to the engineering or housekeeping departments.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hotel front desk or guest services role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional hospitality training is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Madeline).
- Language: Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills in Mandarin, French, or Spanish are highly desirable given our diverse clientele.
- Professionalism: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, while maintaining a positive attitude.
