Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests warmly and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process, creating a lasting first impression.
- Reservation Management: Accurately handle room reservations, modifications, and cancellations using our property management system (Opera).
- Front Office Operations: Manage the front desk switchboard, answer inquiries, and provide local recommendations and directions.
- Security & Access: Monitor hotel security cameras and control access to the premises to ensure guest safety.
- Communication: Relay messages and coordinate efficiently with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
- Revenue Management: Proactively upsell rooms and amenities to maximize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar hospitality role is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and MS Office Suite is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
