Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring all required documentation and payments are processed accurately.
- Communication: Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails, answering inquiries regarding hotel amenities, directions, and local recommendations.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Operations: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces to uphold our luxury standards.
- Administrative: Update guest profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) and manage room assignments.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a polished, professional telephone manner.
- Technical: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Attitude: A positive, guest-first attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
