We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in the heart of Colorado Springs. This position is specifically for our weekend shift, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather during the week.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for their stay. We pride ourselves on providing a premium experience and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys helping people.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, welcoming greetings to guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Process payments accurately and maintain proper cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with professionalism and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet our high standards.
- Monitor security cameras and access control systems to ensure guest safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Proficient in using computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office and Property Management Software (PMS).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- A positive attitude and a professional appearance are mandatory.
