Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating complex matters to management.
- Utilize the property management system (PMS) to process reservations, room changes, and billing information.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Assist with concierge services, including restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Proficiency with computers and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights when assisting with luggage or supplies.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; hospitality or tourism certifications are a plus.
